Un poco sobre mí.

I am the last and strangest daughter in a tight-knit family of Indigenous Mexicans from Guanajuato. We are of Otomi and Purépecha heritage and share a legacy of post-colonialism, immigration — and so much more.

I am seasoned editor, audience strategist and award-winning journalist.

My work explores how marginalized people survive and thrive in the western world; the ways cultural phenomena, politics, art and technology can impact communities in disparate ways.

I am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own. And I am not free as long as one person of color remains chained.

Nor is any one of you.
